Ignore attributes on text nodes

I'm currently trying to achieve the same behaviour as another xml parser

That is for attributes on object nodes to be preserved under a special key, but if a node just contains text, the attribute is ignored

Is this possible?

e.g.

<foo bar="hello">
   <name ignore="this">baz</name>
   <thing keep="this">
     <fruit>plum</fruit>
   </thing>
</foo>

{
  "foo": {
    "@attributes": {
      "bar": "hello"
    },
    "name": "baz",
    "thing": {
      "@attributes": {
        "keep": "this"
      },
      "fruit": "plum"
    }
  }
}

There is no direct way but you can achieve it in 2 ways.

• ignore specific attribute, ignore in your case.
• Use updateTag

I'm currently having to do this:
