Unable to opt in service account metrics with cli

I want to opt in service account metrics, its not clear from the docs how to use the cli option. Both of the following didnt work:
1.

extraArgs:
  - --metric-opt-in-list=serviceaccounts=[*]

extraArgs:
  - --metric-opt-in-list=kube_serviceaccount_info
