URL SCHEME and External Browser

Hi,
Im using the WebView plugin, and would like to know how the URL SCHEME works, and if I want to intercept certain links that should be opened in the system browser and not in webview? like "tg:", "fb:", "gcash:" or specific links, if this can be done, where should the intercept happen?
