The agent ignores the Postgres Metadata Filter parameter when passed dynamically as {{$vars.myVar}} or {{$flow.state.myVar}}. In previous versions and chains, this works; integrated into an agent, it doesn't.

It is expected to be possible to filter documents from a database using a hard filter via a metadata filter. This allows me to extract only documents that are of interest to me in the context.

I have the same issue. I am using the new Agentflow V2 (Flowise 3.02).

I understood that this did not work in v1 agent node.

I can confirm that when I hardcode a value of "user_id" in my case, the filtering works with Postgres Vector Database. However, I need to pass the actual value of user_id as a dynamic variable. The field does not show flow state variables or $vars when you start typing {{.
