Infinitely stuct at "checking size" #535

I don't know whether I should post that or not - as it is happening with pre-v4.x (currently using v3.8), but, maybe it'll even be somewhat helpful.
And moreover you can't replicate that issue efficiently - as it's totally random.

Sometimes the app is stuck in an infinite loop of "detecting folder size" (that spinning circle on v3.8).
Yes, it's justifiable when you try to compress a folder with a ton of files/folders - but sometimes it's stuck in that endless loop for the most "basic" (not a lot of files, no long paths, no extensive folder trees inside, ect) folders possible.
The drives themselves are healthy, ofc (defragmented/trimmed/ect), and files/folders are not in use.

That's why, usually when I see the "spinny circle" (as size is calculated instantly, except for those "beefy" folders, ofc) - I just immediately restart the app (close and reopen via the context menu), and it detects the size instantly.
Just for the laughs I once left that stuck "detection" run for a half an hour. The circle was still spinning when I came back. =)

It's one of those long-lasting bugs, which isn't that critical, ofc (as you can always quickly restart the app) - but nasty enough to be mess up a "perfect app" reputation.
That one and the bug with long/deep path (mentioned in other issues, yet that insta-crash can occur on rather simple paths/trees as well) which causes the app to crash on launch (fixed by moving the folder and therefore shortening the path, and moving it back when it's finished compressing).
Well, and the one with random context menu crash - the app crashes when you launch it through the context menu, yet runs absolutely fine when you launch it manually, and then select/drag the very same folder in it.
Again, there's no problems with the drives nor the folders/files themselves.
Those are the most critical issues I encounter (or not - as their appearance is totally random) on a day to day basis while using the app. It's like a bump on the road you frequently use - you know where it is, so you just drive around it. But it still bugs your eye every time you get passed it.
