[BUG] HTTP Error 503

Description

After installing the MCP and opening an APK, I get a 503 error for pretty much all requests.

• JADX Version: 1.5.1
• Plugin Version: 2.1.7
• OS: MacOS

In that case I need logs. In jadx there are logs, kindly look for errors that start with - 'JADX AI MCP Error' as well as in claude's config directory, there is a logs folder. Inside that folder there will be a log file for the jadx mcp server. Kindly look into both and share with me the details of the error.

For this, you can see there is a drop down menu in jadx logs, you can see the current Log level: DEBUG . Here, click on drop down menu and select the ERROR level.

from this, i think the main issue lies in JADX AI MCP Plugin, so kindly share the ERROR logs from jadx with me.

Just tried it again and it's the same. I can't find any errors in jadx

Okay, I might have to go deep into this, give me some times. I will analyze your logs and revert back to you ASAP.

Meanwhile, kindly give me two confirmations:

1. Is this issue arises with different APK?
2. Is this issue arises with cursor?

Kindly check and confirm above two, while I try to find the issues from logs.

1- Yes. I only tried two small APKs but it returned 503 for both of them.
2- I don't have cursor and I haven't tried it.

Maybe you could send an example curl request to call one of the APIs and see if it acts the same or not.

Hey @SamadiPour,

I need you to do one thing, Start Jadx with MCP Plugin, load the APK file and run following command in terminal

curl http://127.0.0.1:8650/manifest

Do this, as soon as possible so I can plan next steps in troubleshooting this error.

You should see the output as shown in image below.

Whatever the output is revert back to me ASAP.

Okay, This finalizes that the issue is the jadx MCP server file. I will revert back to you with my findings.

After a bit of testing, I think I figured out the issue
It's because of this little guy here
At least it worked in the terminal when I change it from localhost to 127.0.0.1
